Does technology get in the way of learning? No, technology does not get in the way of learning, people get in the way of their own learning by misusing technology. Technology has greatly increased the speed of our growth and ability to learn by giving us quick access to information, but sometimes kids misuse technology to play games or snap their friends. This is not because of tech but because of the kids.

Can money buy happiness? Yes, to some degree I think money can buy happiness. Family vacation, the family pet, or even a hospital bill for your grandparents. These things can make people happy with memories or the feeling of gratitude towards doctors that give you years of happy memories with your grandparents. Money can by you memories and memories can make you happy, so money can buy you happiness.
When you are paying for all your own things, have a job, and pay taxes you are an adult. Everyone matures at different rates, so people act like adults when they are eighteen or when they are twenty five. Acting like an adult is accepting you're own faults and fixing your own problems and sometimes adults don't stay acting like adults or act like a kid their whole life.
I think that kids in elementary school are to young to have iphones. They always have an adult near by and don't need to call anyone. They also don't know the dangers of the online world and can ruin their life's with a single click of a button. When the get to middle school they will need a phone to contact parents and to talk to their friends about things that they need to do. In middle school they are smarter and understand the dangers of strangers online.
One person's dream can change the world by inspiring others to join them in their cause. It can spark ideas and movements to make that dream come true. If the dream is something that will help the world, then the world will help itself by making the dream a reality. People, when the put their minds to it, can get anything done with enough man power. We can build anything, fix anything, and dream anything. therefore anything is possible in our world as long as someone dreams of it.
Is it even a question? Paper of course!!! How can someone chose electronic over paper?!? A part of reading is the feel, the smell! The rough paper between your hands, and the weight of the book in your lap. The new book smell or the old book smell. The wrinkles of past readers and tear stains on sad pages make you feel less alone. YOU CAN'T GET THAT WITH AN ELECTRONIC COPY!!!
This weeks themes would be... Lost in the story. This week has gone by so fast, and so has my book. I start a new series and haven't put it down since I started. Everything i've done this week besides reading I have forgotten. I woke up and realized that it was Friday!!! I'm excited to get home and read the whole weekend. I also don't want to read because each word I read I get closer to the end of my book. What would your theme be?
Writing changes me into a more creative version of myself. It always allows me to become someone else, and tap into my more emotional self without losing my voice in all the words. It can open my eyes to how others think and feel, while preserving my own opinion and side of the story. Writing increases my vocabulary and helps me word my thoughts without sounding stupid. Writing changes my mood and calms me down. Whenever I feel like I have no control of my own story, I write knowing that i'm in control of the story i'm writing, the words and events. So yes writing does change me into a better, calmer, and more intelligent version of myself.
It was my first day at a new school. It was first grade and my teacher had just told my mom and I where to find my seat. I was nervous and shy and didn't sit down at my seat. My mom wanted a picture of me so I smiled at her camera. then, out of nowhere, " HI AM ABBIE, WE'RE FRIENDS NOW," and this Abbie weirdo just threw her arm around me!!! My mom, not questioning anything, just takes the picture and leaves. Abbie ate lunch with me and introduced me to the other kids. She acted as if we've known each other since birth or something and I just went with it. Big mistake.
Yo, It's me, the chair. I know your weaknesses and I know where you live. PSYCH I'm the clock that can't tell time!! I know, I know it's kinda my job to tell you the time, but it's sooooo much more fun to watch you scrabble when the bell rings "an hour early." hehehehehe and when the teacher says she fix me... I mess the time up again. I also see those awful grades you get. I hear what you say about the teacher... I tell her what you say so beware of complaining about your grades. You know that time you thought someone was saying your name? That was me. Alright i gotta go prank the table so bye.
P.S. you know that homework you lost? I ate it. |
